Vlog ep. 1: Road trip with Makken

- There's little that beats a road trip with the bikes on the roof and the gang in the back seat. That's how cyclists in Hallingdal are used to exploring on their home turf. In the Rides Vlog, we load up the Saab of local hero Magnus Grönberg and invite cyclists and other good people from home and abroad to get to know the trails and cycling culture in Hallingdal better.

In this episode of the Rides Vlog, we get a nice visit from Mads Haugen - or Makken, as most people call him.

Makken can be found almost every weekend in Hafjell Bike Park. But as one of the protagonists of the Huckfest Bike Festivaland founder of the Fest Serieshis heart beats strongly for Ål and Hallingdal.

Makken is mainly known for doing big jumps on his downhill bike. But he agreed to make an exception and took his trail bike with him to Hallingdal. Clearly a better tool for exploring the trails around Ål.

This cool drop is located at the end of the Genghis Kahn trail, a stone's throw from the festival area. Despite its size, you'll get a soft landing - if you have the right speed...
