The Flow Trail Valley

Hallingdal is Scandinavia's largest mountain biking region with more than 120 km of built bike trails - a paradise for bike loving families and enthusiasts! You can get to the top with bike lift or shuttle bus and from there, just let your wheels roll through nature's rollercoaster. If you're new to mountain biking, we recommend you start at one of our many pumptracks and skill parks. There are also several family-friendly trails in varied terrain with both pedaling and flow - and challenges for all skill levels. You'll find it all in our trail map. 6 DESTINATIONS
- ONE MOUNTAIN BIKE PARADISE

In Hallingdal, you can explore as many as 6 mountain bike destinations and countless bike trails and facilities wherever you are in the region. Keen riders can ride lift-based flow trails in Geilo or Hemsedal in the morning, add in an epic high-mountain lap on Golsfjellet in the afternoon, and finish with a ride on one of Nesbyen's enduro classics in the evening. The mountain bike family can easily fill a week exploring various family-friendly trails and facilities, and after-bike activities can include visits to The Bear Park, Langedrag, Høyt & Lavt climbing park or cooling off at one of Hallingdal's fantastic swimming spots.

Norway's capital for intense trail biking. Here you'll find Norway's longest flow trail and a wonderful mix of natural mountain trails, machine-built trails and family-friendly trails.

Flow paths close to the city center, breezy cycling experiences in Hallingdal Sykkelpark and a treasure trove of hidden "local secrets" for those who prefer narrow downhill trails.

GEILO

A playground for bike-loving families. Here you'll find both lift-based floating trails, short and fun laps, and Norway's coolest bike park with jumps and pumptrack.

GOL

Gol has Norway's most central trail center and endless high mountain flow on narrow trails with unsurpassed panoramic views.

HEMSEDAL

In Hemsedal you'll find nature's roller coaster! Over 20 kilometers of some of the country's fattest flow trails, which you can easily reach from the top of the chairlift.

Høgevarde is building Norway's coolest trail center and several trails are already ready for the summer. Try out the massive pumptrack, new flow trail and fun jump lines at Turufjell!

How to get here?

Hallingdal is centrally located between Oslo and Bergen. From Oslo it's about 2 hours by car to Flå. The Bergen Railway stops in Nesbyen, Gol, Ål and Geilo, and carries a limited number of bikes (advance booking recommended). It is also possible to travel by bus from Oslo. Check vy.no for public transport.
