Trail Gnomes at Work!
We believe in gnomes! Behind every berm, every jump and every roller, there's a trail gnome - or maybe two. These dedicated enthusiasts live among us. They have regular jobs and are enthusiastic mountain bikers - just like us. But when the trails need love, they step up with volunteer spirit and genuine commitment.
Trail gnomes love supporters like you! Not everyone has time to volunteer, but you can still give back to the trails you love to ride.
Through trail building teams and local associations, trail gnomes work tirelessly to keep the magic of mountain biking alive. But good trails require more than just sweat and shovels. Giving money to local trails shows how important they are to the local community - and every penny counts.

DID YOU KNOW?
-
The trails in Hallingdal are the result of a partnership between bike clubs, municipalities, foundations, government funding and local sponsors.
-
They are open to everyone - and completely free to use.
-
The aim is to make Hallingdal an even more attractive region to visit and live in. The trails provide both memorable experiences and a healthier local community.
-
Bike trails don't require daily grooming, heating or washing - nor do they need permanent staffing. This makes them very affordable to operate. But: All trails need love after winter, bad weather and heavy use.
-
Maintenance is largely carried out on a non-profit basis. More funding means more frequent and better maintenance - and even better riding experiences for young and old alike.
Your contribution makes a difference - thank you for supporting the trail gnomes!
