TIPS FOR FAMILIES

  1. Plan your trip and choose graded trails with the right level of difficulty. For families, we recommend green and blue trails.

  2. Trails with green grading are suitable for beginner riders. Blue graded trails are suitable for riders with some riding experience.

  3. Green and blue graded trails can be ridden with a regular hardtail mountain bike. A suspension fork is not mandatory, but can provide a better riding experience.

  4. Make sure your bike is in good condition and that the brakes in particular are working optimally. If in doubt - ask a qualified bicycle mechanic.

  5. Start your trip as close to the trail as possible. Long and boring transportation routes can kill the motivation of the little ones before the fun has begun.

  6. Start out carefully! Choose shorter rides and do more laps instead. The length and ambition level can be increased as your riding skills improve.

  7. Take plenty of breaks. Keep water and some chocolate in your backpack.

  8. Considered a mountain bike instructor for the whole family? With some tips and guidance, the progression will increase significantly.
