NESBYEN: COOLEST TRAIL BIKING IN NORWAY?
Nesbyen has most of what a mountain biker dreams of: Machine-built trails with jumps and switchbacks, and improved narrow trails with flow and technical challenges. In recent years, the family-friendly trail product has also grown, so that today Nesbyen can offer trail biking for both beginners and the most dedicated trail bikers. The highlight is Northern Europe's longest flow trail, Hallingsprangt, a full 17 km (!).

HallingSpranget bike shuttle
Experience Norway's longest family-friendly cycle path of 17 km. The "FjellLinken" bus takes you and your bike from the center of Nesbyen up to the start of the trail. Pedestrians without bikes are of course also welcome on the bus.

Nesbyen Ski og Sykkel offers rental of fully damped trail bikes. These are perfect for the trails in Nesbyen, both in the high mountains and the trails around the city center.

Nesfjellet bike lift
The bike lift at Nesfjellet provides efficient biking in the Nesfjellet Bike Park, which is being developed continuously through the summer of 2025. With the traction lift and EasyLoop system, you can get to the top easily and efficiently. The lift is open daily between July 5 and August 17. From August 23 to September 28, the lift will be open on weekends, and from September 29 to October 5, the lift will be open daily. Opening hours are 10-16.
