The Norwegian Pumptrack Series returned to Nesbyen this weekend for the second round of the national series and as much as 10,000,- in prize money was at stake. The round gave an early indication of who are the favorites to win the overall title in this year's series. At the same time, we proved once again that dirt jump bikes can be at least as fast on the pump track as BMX.

Results Elite:
There were both 10 sheets and overall points at stake in the elite class. It goes without saying that in the end it is Annika Pettersen who sits at the top of the podium in the women's class in Norwegian pumptrack competitions. Annika collected her 6th straight victory in the Norwegian Pumptrack Series in Nesbyen as planned. This was also her 8th straight win in the regional Hallingdal series. Annika also came to Nesbyen as the newly crowned Norwegian pumptrack champion, and it seems almost impossible to see who could beat Annika in a Norwegian pumptrack competition. We hope the female Norwegian cycling elite will take up the challenge in the next series round at Geilo. #whocanbeatannika. On the men's side, we have had several repeat winners in the short history of NPS and now Petter Dyrdahl can also add his name to that list. The pumptrack rocket from Mysen came to Nesbyen as the winner of the first national round in Trysil, and in Nesbyen he showed that this was no coincidence. Leander Bunes has taken repeated victories in the Hallingdal Pumptrack Series for juniors. This year he was in the Elite class and showed that there is not long to go before he chastises the absolute fastest in pumptrack.
Ladies podium:
Annika Pettersen: 35.03
Elise Roer: 37:25
Vilde S. Svendsen 39:53
Men's podium:
Petter R. Dyrdahl 32:83
Patrick Stenberg: 33:21
Leander Bunes: 35:98

Results Junior (9-12 years):
There is little doubt that Norwegian pumptrack talent is growing as a result of the spread of pumptrack throughout the country. The kids drove really fast and there are starting to be more established duels in this class. In the end, it was vanishingly small margins that separated the riders in the final.

Oline Grøndal: 40:18
Eira Ravnås: 43:00
