Forkbeard

The top surface is a combination of transported gravel and indigenous material. Along the trail there are several vantage points with sweeping views of Hallingdal, Vassfaret and Krøderen. Along the way there is also a picnic area with the possibility of a small campfire (NB: The campfire area cannot be used during the forest fire period April 15-September 15).

How to find the trail:
The trail starts east of Høgevarde Fjellpark, just east of Lavvostien. Feel free to start your bike ride from Lavvoen, onto Lavvostien and take over on this trail at the easternmost point of Lavvostien.
