Trail opening in Nesbyen: TyttebærTrøkket

- The offerings in Norway's mountain bike capital just keep growing and growing. The trail builders at Trailhead Nesbyen have been working throughout the fall and spring, and this weekend the tapes on "TyttebærTrøkket" can finally be removed. The trail has a red/difficult trail rating, and the new trail completes the first phase of the trail center at Trytetjern, which already has trails with a green/easy and blue/moderate level of difficulty. Hallingdal Rides has tested the trail, and it's safe to say that riders have something to look forward to!

The Nesbyen locals have become well accustomed to trail openings in recent years, and this year the first opening will take place already before the summer holidays. In other words, there will be plenty to look forward to for riders visiting Hallingdal this summer.

TyttebærTråkket is a real all-inclusive! If, like me, you like a mix of downhill flow with well-built berm and fun, challenging "cruxing" in the climbs, then this is the trail for you!

Hallingdal Ride's test pilot, Magnus Grönberg, got an exclusive run-through before the openings and is full of praise:

This is exactly what I think biking in Canada and North America looks like. Purpose built but still natural and challenging. On TyttebærTråkket, you often have the feeling of riding on a normal hiking trail, but the experience is even etter - and not least faster. It feels like you're on an "outback adventure", even though the trail is centrally located at Trytetjern."
